I received this e-mail within the past few days. Did anyone else get this? I was surprised there were no comments on the Message Boards.

Yep, it was a complete surprise. I was concerned about it being a phishing scam, in fact.

I had a similar reaction as I was surprised that the e-mail did not come from Rick. I did send an e-mail to support and did get a response back from Dick Crane. I did notice that Rick hasn't posted to these boards in the past 2 weeks. Hope everything is alright with him.

I recieved nothing about this. Not only is it a surprise that they would send it only to some via email, but it's equally surprising they didn't post it here on the forum...or a blurb on the main site...or something.

I'd found about the same. Newly incorporated (March), it could conceivably have been created just for this deal, should it be true. Interesting, to say the least.

I hope they maintain the excellent support. That is the only reason I am still using Quikstore. There are tons of better and less expensive carts out there, but Quikstore's support is second to none.

Roy, do you host on the i-Soft (ShopingCartServer.com) server? If not, that may be a reason you didn't receive an email. We had to change the credit card billing from i-Soft to QuikStore Ltd for the June billing.

I'm still waiting for the promised details on upgrading to version 3 which was launching this week according to the email. I've been researching other solutions since version 3 was so long overdue. I was hoping to have things settled very shortly.

I looked more closely at the email notice I received. I automatically convert messages to text, so I could easily see the link for a gif that was heading the message. The root was http://rgnetworks.co.uk . Visited the site and it looks like QuikStore was rather hastily added to their software products. The more information goes to Quikstore.com's rather outdated pages.

That's likely the reason. I don't host with QS (I am a host, actually), so there wouldn't have been an immediate need to inform me. I own probably 7 licenses or so at this point, however, so I'm keen to know about v3 as well. Wink

I do not host with them either, but I have done over a dozen quikstore sites.
